Composer, arranger, pianist, director and music educator, Daniel García Artés is one of the most versatile professionals on the current music scene.
Passionate about cinema and the audiovisual universe, he writes both soundtracks and symphonic or acoustic arrangements for musicians and bands of national and international stature. With his extensive career, he is a master in orchestrating compositions and arrangements in any genre and style, work that he eventually performs for the Galician Symphony Orchestra, where he combines the role of Director of the Young Choir.

Professional pianist and composer, Daniel’s career is combined with his constant work as Director of multiple choirs for more than 15 years.
He is an award-winning composer in various fields, he has premiered chamber and choral music compositions, as well as pieces for piano, and symphony orchestra.
He is a regular arranger of the Landro Festival (Viveiro) and once again awarded for it. He has been commissioned to carry out multiple arrangements of Disney music for Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia (OSG). Likewise, he has recently orchestrated songs by Xoel Lopez, who in turn has performed with the artist’s band in a unique concert with the OSG.

Our history
Also participated in joint projects with the School of Image and Sound of A Coruña, and has been responsible for several soundtracks for short films, theatre, documentaries, video games, … His work stands out in the short films “Inestable” by Álvaro Otero, sponsored by the Xunta de Galicia;”Herdanzas” by Alejandra Castro; “Koan” by Omar Rabuñal; as well as in the documentary “Titania” and in the series “Para Mariñeiros Nós”. He has also done the music for the Televisión de Galicia series “No mellor da vida”, and worked on the development of several games, including “Chains Keeper” for iOS. One of his last work is the soundtrack of the successful game “Tragabuche, er videojuego”.
